RUNNING THROUGH EXPOS story

This story has 142 episodes and each episode is displayed on a collage that contains at most 4 photos.
I took the photos during my visits through the exhibitions were I’ve participated as a regular visitor, mostly at Romexpo. This is the main exhibition centre of Bucharest and Romania. The exhibitions from there are related to Romanian economy. The exhibitions were from different fields of activity: boats, cars, clothes, kids, agriculture, metal processing, pets, bicycles, hunting, stomatology, furniture, wood processing, toys, hi-tech, guns, packages & printing, horeca, make-up & beauty care, and many others.
An exhibition, or a section of an exhibition is presented by only one photo in all the story.

RUNNING AMONG SAINTS story

This story has 96 episodes and each episode is displayed on a collage that contains at most 4 photos. At the bottom of the collage is a short description of each photo.
The photos are not random photos, because I chosen them based on some religious criteria. The background idea is that religious paintings, from the icons or from the churches walls, follow some content rules, that are described in some special books. There is a limited number of paintings, the same in all churches. Therefore, multiple paintings contains the same religious scene, the same person, saint or angel, and even more, all these are painted in the same way. For example, a scene should contain everywhere the same specified persons, saints, buildings and nature. A saint should have specified age, haircut, clothes, body position and wear the same things in their hands. What might differ is the paintings styles. Because of these, some of the paintings inside the churches contains also short title that describe their content. Even if the painting content is specified in books, not all the paintings follow the specifications.
I took the photos during my visits mostly through Bucharest churches, but also through Romanian churches. From here came the name of the series: Running among saints (Alergând printre sfinţi). The saints were the saints from the walls of the churches I visited.
I’ve chosen each photo so that to match only once in all the story, a religious scene, person, saint or angel, from the religious culture.
